Carl Rennie

Co-Principle Clarinet

Born in 1992, Carl began his musical career at Aldenham School studying composition, history, harmony and counterpoint under John Wyatt.  Specialising as a clarinettist aged 10, Carl studied solo performance with Janet Spotswood until 2010. He then secured a place at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London where he continues to study.

As a member of various orchestras, bands and choirs, Carl has been fortunate to perform at some spectacular locations, the most memorable of which have been the Loire Valley and Venice.

Carl is also an accomplished guitarist. He greatly enjoys singing English sacred music, as well as reading music philosophy.
