Alina Hiltunen

Finnish-born Alina has been playing the violin since she was five. She held her first solo recital at the age of 14. She studied at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating in 2011, and took her degree in music education at the North Karelia University of Applied Sciences (NK-UAS) in Finland. Alina has played in many masterclasses and has performed in Finland, the USA and the UK. She led the symphony orchestra of Joensuu Conservatoire & NK-UAS for four years and worked as a soloist with the orchestra on numerous occasions. Alina has played in many chamber music groups, and has worked professionally with the Joensuu City Orchestra.
