Alex Paul

Londoner Alexandra Paul has been involved in music since the age of seven and began to play the trombone at secondary school. After studying for a BMus degree at Goldsmiths’ College, she spent much of her time playing the trombone on the London circuit in Latin, Funk and Pop bands as well as teaching and working with South London based music charity Child and Sound as a community musician. After taking a break from the music scene to support her family, she returned to tour with the ‘Stomp’ show: Pandemonium featuring the ‘Lost & Found Orchestra’ in America. She is currently training as a music therapist at the Nordoff-Robbins music therapy centre in north London, and plans to combine her commitments as a freelance musician with work as a music therapist.
